Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University will announce on Wednesday a major gift to create an endowed chair in the Ogden College of Science and Engineering.
The announcement will be at 11:30 a.m. in the McConnell Integrated Applications Laboratory in the Complex for Engineering and Biological Sciences. Speakers will include WKU President Gary Ransdell, Ogden College Dean Blaine Ferrell, Interim Engineering Department Head Stacy Wilson, and the donors.
The donors, who are WKU alumni, are connected to a national engineering firm based in Louisville.
