Former Contestant On 'The Apprentice' To Speak
At WKU

Bowling Green, Ky. - Mark Lamkin, founder and CEO of Lamkin Wealth Management, was hand selected by Donald Trump to serve as a contestant on season four of NBC’s “The Apprentice.”  Lamkin will speak to Western Kentucky University faculty and students on Feb. 1 in Grise Hall Auditorium-Room 235 at 10:20 a.m.
           
Lamkin’s presentation “Where Have All the Butterflies Gone?” will be about how getting butterflies in your stomach is a good thing. He will also speak about what he learned from “The Apprentice” experience and how he transitioned that experience to his firm, and through increased branding, work, and strategy, tripled the size of his business.
           
Lamkin Wealth Management is a $100 million financial planning company that specializes in retirement planning and 401k funds management and provides clients with retirement planning that helps to protect, manage, and grow their work of a lifetime.
           
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Louisville, Lamkin went on to earn his MBA from Bellarmine University while simultaneously forming Lamkin Wealth Management.
           
Lamkin has been passionately pursuing his career in wealth management for 17 years and has invested more than $1 billion in client funds over that time. With a willingness and desire to share his financial knowledge, Lamkin was chosen by WHAS Radio to serve the greater Louisville area as the resident expert in his field and is featured every other Monday on “The Francene Show.”
           
Lamkin is a life-long resident of Kentucky and he and his wife, Jennifer, have chosen to raise their son, Zachary and daughter, Sydney in Louisville.
