WKU Debaters Receive Bids For National Tournament

Green, Ky. - Three Western Kentucky University debate teams have received bids to this year’s National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence.
The invitation-only tournament will be held March 15-16 in Tacoma, Wash.
The WKU teams are:
*Chad Meadows (an Owensboro senior) and Tom Schally (a junior from Stillwater, Minn.), who are ranked No. 2 out of 774 teams in the latest NPTE rankings.
*Brian Bloss (a junior from Coppell, Texas) and Kelcy Hathaway (a sophomore from Garden City, Kan.) who are ranked 10th.
*Elizabeth Mullins (a sophomore from Plymouth, Mass.) and Logan Parke (a sophomore from Little Rock, Ark.) who are ranked 12th.
