“We are fortunate to be able to partner with a local university,” Emmet Roche, vice president of sales for HeathCo, said. “It is a great benefit to us, and I believe it will be a great benefit to the students of the Center for Professional Selling.”

The Center’s current corporate partners include HeathCo, Kentucky Farm Bureau, Marathon Petroleum, Tom James, Standard Register and Capital Financial.

“The momentum is building for the sales program, thanks to the hard work of Dr. Lukas Forbes and the generosity of our corporate partners,” said Dr. William Tallon, dean of the Gordon Ford College of Business.  “The partnerships we have with our corporate partners allow us to learn from each other, which is a valuable asset for our students.”

The WKU Center for Professional Selling, directed by Dr. Lukas Forbes, serves two primary purposes. First, the Center provides educational opportunities in the area of sales. Second, the Center aligns with corporations to develop relationships beneficial to WKU, WKU students, and the partnering firms.
