WKU Greek System Presents Annual Awards

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University’s Greek System hosted its annual awards convocation on April 27 at the Downing University Center Theatre.

In the Overall Greek Week results, FarmHouse placed first among fraternities while Kappa Delta was first among sororities.

The Greek Week blood drive produced 1,262 productive units of blood for the American Red Cross while the Greek Week Philanthropy Day raised $8,000 for the March of Dimes.

The following awards were presented:

Randall Capps Greek Man of the Year: Lance Coulter, Pi Kappa Alpha, a senior from Bardstown; Ben Redmon, Kappa Sigma, a senior from Ekron.

Greek Woman of the Year: Jeanne Johnson, Kappa Delta, a senior from Marion.

Charley Pride Spirit Award: Jordan Carter, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a junior from Bowling Green; Tori Theiss, Kappa Delta, a senior from Fort Thomas.

Order of Omega Outstanding New Member of the Year: Cory Gearlds, Sigma Phi Epsilon, a sophomore from Tompkinsville; Sarah Moore, Sigma Kappa, a freshman from Evansville, Ind.

Randy Bracey Outstanding Advisor Award: Amanda Phillips, Chi Omega; Johnny Douglas, Lambda Chi Alpha.
M. Reed Morgan Fraternal Excellence Award: Sigma Chi.

Most Improved Chapter: Delta Tau Delta; Chi Omega.

Karen Towell Sisterhood Award: Alpha Omicron Pi.

Chapter Achievement Awards
