Louisville Mayor To Speak At WKU

Bowling Green, Ky. - Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson will speak at Western Kentucky University on Friday.
           
Abramson, who is in Bowling Green to kick off the Bowling Green Bike Summit, will speak at 9:30 a.m. in Grise Hall Auditorium on why it is important to Kentucky’s future to keep the brightest students in the Commonwealth. While geared primarily to college students, his remarks will be open to the public.
           
Abramson is in his second four-year term as mayor of Louisville Metro. In 2003 he was named on of the “Public Officials of the Year” by Governing magazine for his success with the largest city-county merger in 30 years.
