Green, Ky. - Olivia Faulkner, a senior from Cynthiana, will represent Western Kentucky University at the 2008 Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival in Pineville.
Faulkner, the daughter of William and Jackie Faulkner, is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and a WKU Spirit Master.
The Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival began in 1931 and will celebrate the 78th crowning of the Mountain Laurel Queen on May 24 at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park. Each university in the Commonwealth is invited to send a representative to the festival each year.
