WKU Dedicates New Health Services Building

April 17, 2008

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University dedicated its new Health Services Building on Thursday morning.

“Health Services is an important part of the quality of life on our campus,” President Gary Ransdell said.

The facility at Normal Drive and Regents Avenue houses WKU’s full-service medical care and health education services for students, faculty, staff and the community.

“This is a special moment for us and a tribute to this university family,” Dr. Ransdell said.

Dr. Gene Tice, WKU’s vice president for Student Affairs and Campus Services, thanked Health Services director Libby Greaney and her staff for their work in developing a business model that improved medical service on campus and in achieving the goal of constructing the new facility.

“This is a day of celebration and is a success story of the Health Services staff and what they have accomplished,” Dr. Tice said.  “It has been a team effort to successfully bring us to this point.”
