Green, Ky. - The Kelly Autism Program at Western Kentucky University will present the 2007 Alliance Awards at 6 p.m. Monday (Oct. 1) at Downing University Center’s Cupola Room.
The Kelly Autism Program, part of the Clinical Education Complex at WKU, serves families with adolescents and young adults diagnosed in the Autism Spectrum Disorder Continuum.
The Alliance Award Ceremony recognizes individuals making significant contribution's to KAP’s journey toward national recognition. The Alliance Award is presented to leaders in the business community who have actively participated in the KAP transition to work program. This program is critical in helping participants become independent and productive members in the community.
Recipients of the 2007 Alliance Award are: Bandy Bedding, Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, Buckhead Cafe and Mariah’s Restaurant, The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU, Greenview Regional Hospital, Hillvue Heights Church, Holiday Inn University Plaza, Rivendell Behavioral Health Services and State Beauty Supply.
