Green, Ky. - Registration is under way for “Dealing with Common HR Headaches,” a seminar geared toward both seasoned and inexperienced human resources professionals in any business setting.
Topics during this four-hour seminar will include “The Legal Pitfalls of the Hiring Process” and “What to Expect After an EEOC Charge.” A representative from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will be on hand as well as attorneys from Harned, Bachert & Denton.
According to Trish Jones, who was instrumental in putting the program together, “Smaller companies are faced with handling a variety of challenges and being proactive when dealing with personnel issues is vital to their ongoing success. These sessions will assist them with essential people management skills.”
Jones is the managing partner of People Resources LLC, a full-service human resources consulting company that offers businesses an opportunity to maximize on their human capital investments.
The seminar is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 14 at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green. Early registration is available until Nov. 2 with a discounted rate of $99. After Nov. 2, the registration fee is $150. Walk-in registration will be available the day of the event.
