Green, Ky. - As a part of Western Kentucky University’s 2007 Homecoming festivities, the WKU Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter will be conducting its second annual Pass the Pepper, Prez auction.
The highest bidder in each of the auction’s five categories – student, faculty, staff, alumni and community -- will be invited to a group dinner with President and Mrs. Ransdell.
“Last year’s event was such a great success, and we are so thankful that President and Mrs. Ransdell have graciously committed their time and support to our PRSSA chapter,” said Bekah Clark, President of WKU’s Chapter of PRSSA.
The bidding will end at 4 p.m. (CST) Sunday, Nov. 11. Proceeds from the online auction will benefit the WKU PRSSA Chapter and will be used to support student conference trips and other professional development opportunities.
Bids can be placed at www.wku.edu/ransdell100. Contest rules and regulations are also provided. The date and time of the dinner will be decided by the President’s office based on schedule availability.
