17 WKU Students Competing For 2007 Homecoming Queen

Green, Ky. - Seventeen Western Kentucky University students are competing to become the 2007 Homecoming queen.
The winner will be crowned during halftime of Saturday’s Homecoming game against Troy University. The game begins at 4 p.m. at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium.

This year’s queen candidates include:
Rebecca Jill Arnold, a senior and a social work major from Bowling Green. She is the daughter of Sara and Joe Arnold and is sponsored by Sigma Kappa, Sigma Nu and Kappa Sigma.
Jennifer Christine Blair, a senior and an accounting major from Bowling Green. She is the daughter of Tom and
Leigh Blair and is sponsored by Catholic Campus Center.
Katie Beard, a senior and a public relations and political science major from Bowling Green. She is the daughter of Craig and Kathy Beard and is sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi, Lambda Chi Alpha and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Megan E. Bird, a senior and a design, merchandising and textiles major from Millersburg, Ohio. She is the daughter of Tom and Cheryl Bird and is sponsored by Chi Omega and Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
Jenna Brown, a senior and an agriculture business major from Woodburn. She is the daughter of Herb and Tina Brown and is sponsored by Block and Bridle.
Danielle Marquie Hale, a junior and a marketing major from Madison, Tenn. She is the daughter of Danny and Jeannine Hale and is sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha and Kappa Alpha.
Laura Michelle Hawkins, a senior and a social work major from Hanson. She is the daughter of Glenn and Elaine Hawkins and is sponsored by Baptist Campus Ministry.
Kelly Annette Headrick, a senior and an elementary education major from Glasgow. She is the daughter of Tim and Nancy Headrick and is sponsored by WKU-Glasgow Campus.
Jeanne Lynn Johnson, a senior and an economics and financial planning major from Marion. She is the daughter of Amy and Jim Johnson and is sponsored by Kappa Delta, Farm House and Phi Delta Theta.
Sarah A. Korona, a senior and a financial management major from Nicholasville. She is the daughter of Mark and Kathy Korona and is sponsored by Spirit Masters.
Cherieth Lea Lineweaver, a senior and a broadcast news major from Louisville. She is the daughter of Cheri and Steve Lineweaver and is sponsored by Student Government Association.
Kathryn Ann Little, a senior and a marketing major from Columbia, Tenn. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Sharon Little and is sponsored by American Marketing Association.
Devin Michele Moran, a senior and an English and allied language arts major from Lexington. She is the daughter of Michele Elery and Byron Moran and is sponsored by Black Student Alliance.
Cassie Marie Neace, a senior and an elementary education major from Hebron. She is the daughter of Robert and Trish Neace and is sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi and Sigma Chi.
Kayln Elaine Smith, a senior and a psychology major from Brentwood, Tenn. She is the daughter of Rand and Beth Smith and is sponsored by Phi Mu and Pi Kappa Alpha.
Ashley Danielle Turner, a senior and a broadcasting major from Glasgow. She is the daughter of Alex and Angela Talbott and is sponsored by Delta Tau Delta and Alpha Gamma Delta.
Dunja Zdero, a sophomore and a news-editorial journalism and Spanish major from Louisville. She is the daughter of Marijana and Budimir Zdero and is sponsored by Honors Toppers and Honors Club.
