WKYU-PBS Announces Gingerbread House Contest

Bowling Green, Ky. - The WKYU-PBS Gingerbread House Contest is an annual event being held this year at the Farmers National Bank Holiday Open House on Friday, Dec. 14. There is no entry fee and more than $1000 in prizes will be awarded.
           
Individuals may enter the competition in Youth I (age 12 and under), Youth II (age 13 – 17), or Adult (age 18 and up) categories. An independent panel of judges will select the winning entries on Dec.14, and a prize will be awarded in each category.
           
Entries will be judged for overall appearance, originality/creativity, difficulty, precision, and consistency of theme. The contest is open to everyone except employees of WKYU-PBS, Sam’s Club and their families. The deadline for submitting Gingerbread House Contest entry forms is Dec. 12.
