WKU Offering Coronal Polishing For Dental Assistants

Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University’s dental hygiene program and the Continuing Education office are offering Coronal Polishing for Dental Assistants, a course is for dental assistants who aspire to enhance their skills and further their education.
The course includes lectures and a laboratory section and is designed to provide the dental assistant with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform coronal polishing procedures. Upon successful completion of the course and verification of clinical competency, the participant will receive a certificate from WKU and will be eligible for certification by the Kentucky Board of Dentistry.
Coronal Polishing for Dental Assistants is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Academic Complex on the WKU campus. The registration deadline is Nov. 23.
