Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University junior Meredith Moore has been selected as this year’s recipient of the David J. Clarke Memorial Scholarship awarded by the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences.
Moore, a broadcasting major from Evansville, Ind., will receive the scholarship June 23 at the 43rd annual Midwestern Regional Emmy Awards in Columbus, Ohio. She is the daughter of Randy and Ann Moore. (Randy Moore is news anchor for WTVW Fox 7 in Evansville; Ann Moore is a former anchor at the station.)
The Ohio Valley chapter of NATAS (www.ohiovalleyemmy.org) includes 13 television markets in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia.
