WKU Accepted Into Internationalization Collaborative

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University has been accepted to membership in the American Council on Education’s Internationalization Collaborative.

The Collaborative is made up of more than 70 colleges and universities that have committed themselves to internationalizing their institutions.

“WKU anticipates receiving great value from participation in the Collaborative because it will provide a means for regular interaction with peer institutions having similar goals regarding the strengthening of the international dimension of the institution,” said Dr. John Petersen, interim chief international officer. “This will help put the ‘international reach’ into WKU’s mission and vision.”

A WKU delegation attended the Internationalization Collaborative’s annual meeting earlier this month in Washington, D.C.
