ALIVE Center Hosting Volunteer/Job Fair On April 4

Bowling Green, Ky. -In recognition of National Volunteer Week, the ALIVE Center (A Local Information and Volunteer Exchange) will be hosting a volunteer/job fair on April 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Diddle Arena, Auxiliary Gym B, at Western Kentucky University.

The ALIVE Center invites the entire community to come and participate.  Individuals and families can pick up information about the nonprofit agencies in the Bowling Green-Warren County area and learn about the volunteer opportunities, internships and job opportunities available to youth and adults.  Free parking will be available to the public in North Diddle Parking Lot.  Refreshments will be served.

The ALIVE Center is a part of WKU’s Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Program.  The Center is a nonprofit agency, funded by a Department of Justice federal appropriation, secured by U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell.
