Death Of Campus Visitor Reported

Bowling Green, Ky. - WKU Police responded to a 911 emergency call for a non-responsive campus visitor at 12:08 Sunday, December 02. Emergency personnel from the Bowling Green Fire Department and the Medical Center Emergency Medical Services tried unsuccessfully to revive the victim.

The deceased has been identified as Lank Graves, 20 of Glasgow, KY. Graves was an overnight visitor of a WKU student in Barnes Campbell Hall, a freshmen, male only residence hall.

Graves was reported to be on active service in the US Army and was stationed at Fort Campbell.

According to Warren County Deputy Coroner Dwayne Lawrence, the body will be transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office where an autopsy will be performed to determine the time and cause of death.

The incident is currently under investigation.

Counselors from the WKU Counseling and Testing Center were on site and available for students and other members of the WKU family.
