Green, Ky. - The Western Kentucky University Chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi will hold its annual initiation ceremonies Sunday (April 29).
About 75 initiates will be inducted into membership during the ceremony at 2 p.m. at Mass Media and Technology Hall Auditorium.
Established in 1897 at the University of Maine, the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi is dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all fields of higher education. The society has more than
285 chapters and one million members worldwide.
Those who may hold membership in the WKU chapter include the top 7.5 percent of the junior class and top 10 percent of the senior class along with outstanding graduate students, faculty and alumni.
