Bowling Green, Ky. - Jaron M. Kormelink, a 19-year-old Western Kentucky University student from Clarksville, Tenn., was found dead Tuesday in his room in Keen Hall, a residence hall on campus.
A preliminary investigation indicates no evidence of foul play or the use of a weapon. The body was discovered by a Facilities Management employee who contacted WKU Police at 1:55 p.m.
Kormelink’s body was initially taken by Deputy Coroner Harold Sanson to J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Home and then transported to the medical examiner’s office in Louisville, Ky., where an autopsy will be performed and the official cause of death will be determined.
