Art Exhibition
April 05, 2007
Bowling
Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University’s 2007 Graduating Senior Art Exhibition will open April 19 at The Kentucky Library & Museum.
The exhibit, featuring works from more than 30 graduating art students, will run through May 11. A variety of items will be on display including paintings, watercolors, works on paper, fiber arts, ceramics and sculptures.
This exhibit offers an opportunity for the community to see student art on display and for graduating seniors to hang their work in a professional, community gallery space before graduating from college, something most collegiate art students do not have the opportunity to do. Students, faculty and museum staff will work together to curate the exhibit.
The 2007 Graduating Senior Art Exhibition was made possible with support from Provost’s Initiatives for Excellence, WKU Art Department, WKU Libraries, Potter College of Arts & Letters and WNKY TV.
