WKU's Fall Super Saturdays Program Begins Oct. 28

- Join The Center for Gifted Studies for Fall Super Saturdays at Western Kentucky University. Designed to provide opportunities for students to broaden their interests, 42 classes emphasize a hands-on, minds-on approach to learning.
Classes range from “Kitchen Table Science” to “I Spy Art around the World,” “Rocket Science” to “Junior Crime Fighters,” and “Spanish Uno” to “Pirates Pizzazz.” Classes are available for first- through seventh-graders and will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, and 18 at WKU facilities in Bowling Green.
Since 1992, more than 14,000 high ability young people have participated in the Super Saturdays program. Financial aid is available. For information or an application, visit www.wku.edu/gifted or call The Center at (270) 745-6323.
The Center’s fourth Owensboro Super Saturdays program will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 21, Nov. 4, Nov. 11 and Nov. 18 at the Owensboro Community and Technical College.
