Bowling Green, Ky. -The Western Kentucky University Office of Admissions will be hosting the Louisville Area Open House at 6:30 p.m. EDT Oct. 18 at the Kentucky Derby Museum.

Prospective students and their families from the Louisville area – Jefferson, Bullitt, Oldham, Spencer, Shelby counties in Kentucky; Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties in southern Indiana -- are invited to attend. Faculty, staff and Admissions personnel will be available to provide information and answer questions about WKU.

Also, the first Focus on Western program is scheduled for Saturday (Sept. 30). The day’s events include informational sessions, campus tours and an academic expo and will conclude with the WKU vs. Western Illinois football game at 6 p.m. Additional Focus on Western programs are scheduled for Nov. 11 and Feb. 24.

College Preview and Transitions Day, a campus preview day for African-American students, is scheduled for Nov. 18 and again on Feb. 3.
