Bowling Green, Ky. - The Western Kentucky University Office of Admissions will be hosting the Elizabethtown Area Open House at 6:30 p.m. EDT Sept. 26 at the Pritchard Community Center on South Mulberry Street.

Prospective students and parents from the following counties are invited to attend: Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Hart, LaRue, Meade and Nelson.  Faculty, staff and Admissions personnel will be available to provide information and answer questions about WKU. WKU’s steel drum band also will perform.

Also, the first Focus on Western program is scheduled for Sept. 30. The day’s events include informational sessions, campus tours and an academic expo and will conclude with the WKU vs. Western Illinois football game at 6 p.m. Additional Focus on Western programs are scheduled for Nov. 11 and Feb. 24.

College Preview and Transitions Day, a campus preview day for African-American students, is scheduled for Nov. 18 and again on Feb. 3.
