Bowling Green, Ky. - The Citizens First Big Red Street Fest at Western Kentucky University has been canceled because of heavy rain forecast for Friday but the Citizens First WKU Homecoming Parade will be held as scheduled, according to Ginny Hensley, assistant director of Alumni Relations.

The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday near the Hardin Planetarium and proceed down Normal Drive.

A decision on whether to cancel Big Red’s Roar will be made at 3 p.m. Friday, she said. For information about the status of Big Red’s Roar, contact Student Activities at (270) 745-2459.
