WKU Forensic Team Adds To National Tournament Qualifiers

Bowling Green, Ky. - Members of the Western Kentucky University Forensic Team made additions to their list of national tournament qualifiers this weekend at two tournaments.

A small team of six members traveled to the Illinois State University in Normal, Ill., and to Bradley University in Peoria.

Results from the Illinois State University MAFL are as follows:

Cornelius Lee, a sophomore from Killeen, Texas, tournament champion in programmed oral interpretation.
Benjamin Pyle, a junior from Harrisburg, Ill., second in prose interpretation, fifth in poetry interpretation.
Kyle Fleeger, a sophomore from Mesa, Ariz., third in impromptu speaking, fourth in extemporaneous speaking.
Carrie Guggenmoss, a freshman from Fullerton, Calif., sixth in dramatic interpretation, sixth in duo interpretation (with Ryan Brown).

Ryan Brown, a sophomore from Morehead, sixth in duo interpretation (with Carrie Guggenmoss).

Results from the Bradley University MAFL are as follows:

Cornelius Lee, a sophomore from Killeen, Texas, second in programmed oral interpretation, fifth in after-dinner speaking.

Benjamin Pyle, a junior from Harrisburg, Ill., second in poetry interpretation.
Daniel Johnson, a freshman from Independence, Mo., sixth in dramatic interpretation.
