Bowling Green, Ky. - Dr. Changchi Hao, professor of philosophy at Wuhan University in mainland China and a visiting scholar at the Harvard-Yenching Institute, will visit Western Kentucky University for two lectures this month.

His first talk, “Lao-Zhuang and St. Augustine on the Issue of Receptivity,” is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Cherry Hall, room 302.

His second talk, “Science and Democracy in 20th Century China,” will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Garrett Conference Center Auditorium.

His visit is sponsored by WKU’s Department of Philosophy and Religion.
