Bowling
Green, Ky. - Author and Bowling Green native Lamar Herrin will present a reading at Western Kentucky University on Nov. 6. The reading will begin at 4 p.m. in room 125 of Cherry Hall.
Herrin is the author of five novels: “House of the Deaf,” “The Unwritten Chronicles of Robert E. Lee,” “The Rio Loja Ringmaster,” “American Baroque” and “The Lies Boys Tell.”
He has also published a memoir, “Romancing Spain,” and his short stories have been published in The Paris Review, The New Yorker, Harper’s and Epoch. He recently retired as director of Cornell University’s master’s of fine arts program.
The reading is free and open to the public.
