Bowling Green , Ky. - Educators will be able to take the FranklinCovey “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” during the January WKU Winter Term.
The class is open to principals, teachers, and other school administrators and staff from the Western Kentucky University regional service area. The class will meet on the WKU campus Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 2 through Jan. 18. The class is a web-enhanced course, so participants must have access to a computer with an Internet connection.
The course is designed to help participants create principle-centered learning environments that improve performance and effectiveness, reduce conflicts and disciplinary problems, and enhance cooperation and teamwork. Participants will come away with a robust and tactical implementation plan to fully integrate the 7 Habits into their lives.
Each class member will receive a participant manual and certificate of participation. WKU graduate credits are available and the program has been approved for Professional Development (EILA) credit.
A registration form and more information on the course are available at www.wku.edu/winter. (REMINDER: WKU will be closed during the last two weeks of December.)
