Bowling Green, Ky. - Two Western Kentucky University employees won the Faculty/Staff Division of The National Collegiate Golf Championships, sponsored by the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association and the Collegiate Golf Alliance.

Gary Meszaros, Auxiliary Services director, and Peter St. Pierre, associate professor of Physical Education and Recreation, shot a 69 to win the tournament, held at Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas Nov. 10-12.

In addition, St. Pierre also won two of the 10 skill challenge events: “Closest to the Pin” and the “Chipping Champion.”

Meszaros and St. Pierre won a regional qualifier hosted by Western Kentucky University to qualify for the event in October 2006.
