Green, Ky. - The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for an April 23 fire in Western Kentucky University’s Cherry Hall is now at $10,000.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has added $2,500 to the reward. That will go with $1,500 from Jim Johnson Pontiac-Nissan-Hyundai, $1,000 from the Kentucky Arson Task Force, $4,000 from WKU and $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
Anyone with information can contact WKU Police at (270) 745-2548; Crime Stoppers at (270) 781-CLUE; or the Kentucky State Arson Task Force at 1-800-27-ARSON.
Several fires were set in Cherry Hall early April 23, causing damage to an interactive television classroom and several offices. The building is currently open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
