WKU To Recognize Award-Winning Forensic Team May 10

- Western Kentucky University will recognize this year’s state, national and international champion Forensic Team on May 10.
The recognition event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center Amphitheater. (In case of rain, the event will move inside to the fine art center’s art gallery.)
The ceremony will include a proclamation signing by Mayor Elaine Walker and Judge-Executive Mike Buchanon as well as remarks from President Gary Ransdell, Provost Barbara Burch and Potter College Dean David Lee.
The 2005-06 WKU Forensic Team’s championships included the Kentucky Forensic Association title, the National Forensic Association’s team sweepstakes in both individual events and Lincoln-Douglas debate, the American Forensic Association National Individual Events Tournament’s national team sweepstakes title and the International Forensic Association title.
