Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University’s Parking and Transportation Services announces the following adjustments to campus parking for three upcoming events.

Fourth Region Basketball Tournaments: Boys’ and girls’ tournament games March 6-11 and March 13-14 at Diddle Arena. At Parking Structure 1 (PS1) and Parking Structure 2 (PS2), $5 public parking fee collection will begin at 5:30 p.m. for public parking. Commuter permits will be admitted to PS2 without charge; faculty/staff non-premium and housing permits will be admitted to PS1 without charge. Games begin at 6:30 and 8 p.m. March 6-10 and 13; and 7 p.m. March 11 and 14.

Girls’ Sweet 16 Basketball Tournament: Games March 22-25 at Diddle Arena (during WKU spring break). All surface lots at Diddle will be reserved. At PS1 and PS2, $5 public parking fee collection will begin 1½ hours before start of game sessions. Games begin at noon and 6:30 p.m. March 22-24 and 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. March 25.

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus: Performances March 31-April 2 at Diddle Arena. Parking and Transportation Services will barricade all North Diddle parking lots on the evening of March 29 for the circus to move in on March 30. (WKU Police and Environmental Health and Safety will maintain access to their reserved spaces.)

For the performances, $5 public parking fee collection at PS1 and PS2 will begin at 5:30 p.m. March 31, 9:30 a.m. April 1 and 11:30 a.m. April 2. Shows are scheduled for 7 p.m. March 30; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 1; and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. April 2.

PS1 and PS2 will be available without charge to permit holders April 1 during the day only. Anyone parking in PS1 or PS2 on the evenings of March 31 and April 1 and during the day April 2 will be charged.
