Hilltopper Classic Fishing Tournament Set For April 8
The entry fee is $60 per two-person team, and $30 for single entrants. The event will begin at 7 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. Cash and door prizes will be given away each hour in addition to a final awards ceremony where participants can receive hundreds of dollars worth of cash and prizes. Pre-registration applications can be downloaded from www.wku.edu/hilltopperclassic On-site registration will be held at Ranger Bob’s Bait and Tackle Shop at the dam at Barren River Lake on Friday, April 7 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., and on Saturday, April 8 from 4 a.m. until 6:30 a.m. Those who register on Friday night have the chance to win a rod and reel combo courtesy of Ranger Bob’s Bait and Tackle Shop. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Dream Factory, a local charity that aids critically and chronically ill children.
