Bowling Green, Ky. - Two Western Kentucky University Student Support Services students won the Kentucky Association of Educational Opportunity Program Personnel Student Support Services Debate Competition March 4 at the University of Louisville.
Taurean Douglas, a junior communications major from Hopkinsville, and Torrence Douglas, a junior communications major from Hopkinsville, defeated a team representing the University of Kentucky.
The team from WKU will represent Kentucky at the Southeastern Regional Debate competition April 29 in Atlanta. The Southeastern Association of Educational Opportunities Programs Personnel sponsors this competition.
