Bowling Green, Ky. - A team from Apollo High School won the annual high school programming contest hosted by Western Kentucky University’s Computer Science Department.
Fifteen teams from five Kentucky schools competed in the contest March 3.
Members of the winning team were Casey Cambron, Ryan Seabolt and Ian Wilkey. All three are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship to WKU.
Two teams tied for second: Apollo’s Rory Brown, Matt Henry and Richard Robertson and Bowling Green’s Kyle Russell, Nathan Armentrout and Nick Austin. Nelson County’s team of Brandon Akers, Daniel Moore and Ben Saderholm finished fourth.
