Bowling Green, Ky. - The Western Kentucky University Music Department will present its annual PRISM Concert at 8 p.m. Jan. 20 in Van Meter Auditorium.
The PRISM Concert format features a rapid-fire sequence of varied ensembles and musical selections that will be staged at different locations in the performance hall. Coupled with lighting, fog, and other special effects, the PRISM Concert is always one of the most exciting concerts of the year.
Ensembles to be featured include the WKU Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Steel Drum Band and many other groups. The music performed will diverse in nature and will represent many different styles.
General admission is $10, making this one of the best concert values in Bowling Green. Tickets may be purchased at several outlets including Royal Music and the WKU Music Office. Tickets will be sold at the door, but to guarantee seating you should purchase a ticket in advance. All proceeds benefit the WKU music program.
