Bowling Green, Ky. - The partners of the Southern Kentucky Book Fest and Franklin Bank & Trust have chosen “In Country” for the 2006 One Campus-One Community-One Book project.
Written by Kentucky native Bobbie Ann Mason, “In Country” is the bestselling novel and deeply affecting story of a young girl who comes to terms with her father’s death in Vietnam two decades earlier. Originally published in 1985, “In Country” was recently reissued by HarperCollins as a modern classic.
