Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's Forensic Team continued its quest to regain the national title this past weekend by adding several new slots to the national tournament roster.
WKU placed third in the first half of the Suffolk University/University of Florida Swing Tournament in Boston. Illinois State University and the University of Florida placed first and second, respectively. The Florida portion of the Feb. 11-12 tournament was canceled due to inclement weather in the Boston area.
Other members of the team placed third overall in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire/Ripon College Swing Tournament in Eau Claire. Bradley University and Illinois State University placed first and second in the Feb. 11-12 tournament.
A third group of six team members competed in the Arizona State University Invitational Feb. 11-12 in Tempe, Ariz.
