Reward In WKU Arson Case Up To
$7,500

- The reward is now $6,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a Sunday morning fire in Western Kentucky University’s Cherry Hall.
The Kentucky Arson Task Force has added a $1,000 reward to rewards offered through WKU and Crime Stoppers. WKU has added $4,000 to the standard Crime Stoppers reward of $1,000.
Anyone with information can contact WKU Police at (270) 745-2548; Crime Stoppers at (270) 781-CLUE; or the Kentucky State Arson Task Force at 1-800-27-ARSON.
Several fires were set in Cherry Hall early Sunday, causing damage to an interactive television classroom and several offices. Classes in the building resumed on Wednesday and the building is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
