Kelly Autism Program To Present Alliance Awards

April 11, 2006

Bowling Green, Ky. - Eight businesses and organizations will be honored Thursday night during the Alliance Award Ceremony, presented by the Kelly Autism Program at Western Kentucky University.

The awards ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. at Jones-Jaggers Hall.
The Kelly Autism Program, part of the Clinical Education Complex, serves families with adolescents and young adults diagnosed in the Autism Spectrum Disorder’s Continuum. The Alliance Award Ceremony recognizes individuals making significant contributions to KAP's journey toward national recognition.

The Alliance Award is presented to leaders in the business community who have actively participated in the KAP transition to work program. This program is critical in helping participants become independent and productive members in the community.

This year’s recipients of the Alliance Award include the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society Animal Shelter, Britthaven of Bowling Green, Greenview Regional Hospital, Houchen’s  Industries, Inc., Leichhardt Landscape Company, Mariah’s Restaurant, Stems and Thee Floral Designers and Western Kentucky Active Day Center.
