Bowling Green, Ky. - A new group has been established at Western Kentucky University to address issues associated with the University’s younger alumni and help guide future programs and services by the WKU Alumni Association.
The 20 members of the Young Alumni Council will meet for the first time on Oct. 14. The council will represent alumni who have graduated within the last 10 yearsa population that makes up nearly 40 percent of WKU’s alumni base. The group will meet twice a year.
The council’s president, Kristen Miller of Louisville, will serve as an ex-officio member of the WKU Alumni Association National Board of Directors.
