WKU President, Centennial To Be Featured On 'Outlook'
Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University President Gary Ransdell and WKU’s centennial celebration will be featured on two editions of “Outlook” on WKYU-PBS.
Dr. Ransdell will address the many challenges facing higher education today. In addition to fiscal concerns, he discusses with “Outlook” host Barbara Deeb ongoing campus modernization efforts and the university’s centennial celebration plans. That show airs Friday (Oct. 28) at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday (Oct. 30) at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Potter College Dean David Lee and University Archivist Sue Lynn McDaniel will further discuss centennial plans and provide an historical perspective on the university’s coming of age. That show will air Nov. 11 at 6:30 p.m. and Nov. 13 at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. "Outlook," the longest running public affairs program in southcentral Kentucky, is a production of WKYU-PBS, Channel 24, the public television service of Western Kentucky University.
