Choral Concert Set For Nov. 7

Bowling Green, Ky. - Music from all over the globe will ring out as the Bowling Green-Western Choral Society and the Western Kentucky University Choir, under the direction of Dr. Paul Hondorp, present a choral concert entitled “Points on the Compass,” Monday, Nov. 7, 7:30pm at First Baptist Church, Bowling Green.

Bowling Green High School’s A Cappella Choir will join the choirs for one number.

The featured work is the Requiem by Brazilian composer José Mauricio Nunes Garcia, with other works by German composers Mendelssohn and Schütz, Portuguese composer Manuel Cardoso, Canadian composer Eleanor Daley, American composers Randall Stroope and Mack Wilberg, and Argentinian composer Ariél Ramirez.

Tickets, which may be purchased at the door, are $10 for general admission; $8 for seniors; and $5 for students with valid IDs.
