Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University junior Stuart Payton won first place in the student poster contest
at the American Institute of Professional Geologists conference in Lexington.
Payton, a civil engineering major from Central City, received $50 plus a $200 certificate to be used toward books. The conference was held Oct. 9.
Payton’s poster for WKU’s Center for Water Resource Studies was titled “Utilization of GIS Technology in a Small Rural Water System Located in Central Kentucky, Greensburg, Green County Waste Water District.”
