Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University’s Omega Psi Phi Fraternity will host its third annual Founder’s Banquet at 7 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 12) at the Carroll Knicely Center at WKU’s South Campus.
The event will raise money for the Jerry O. Valentine Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $25 each. The scholarship will be awarded to a minority high school student who has exemplified scholastic achievement and seeks to further his or her education at WKU.
The Omegas also will present Citizen of the Year awards to the Rev. Porter Bailey of Rockfield First Baptist Church and WKU President Gary Ransdell for their accomplishments across campus and in the community.
