Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and Sygen International will make a major biotechnology announcement Tuesday morning (June 28).
A news conference is scheduled at 9 a.m. on the third floor of the Complex for Engineering and Biological Sciences on the WKU campus. Parking will be available in the lot at 14th and Chestnut streets.
Participants will include WKU President Gary Ransdell; Dr. Graham Plastow, Sygen's chief technology officer; Dr. Richard Bowker, head of WKU's biology department; Dr. Allyson Handley, representing Gov. Ernie Fletcher; and Brian Mefford, president and CEO of ConnectKentucky at the Center for Technology Enterprise.
