Bowling Green, Ky. - The Western Kentucky University Music Department will present its 10th annual PRISM Concert at 8 p.m. Jan. 21 at Van Meter Auditorium.
The PRISM Concert format features a rapid-fire sequence of varied ensembles and musical selections that will be staged in different locations in the performance hall. Coupled with lighting, fog and other special effects, the PRISM Concert is always one of the most exciting concerts of the year.
Ensembles to be featured include the WKU Symphonic Band, Opera Theater, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Steel Drum Band and other groups.
Admission is $10; $5 for students and senior citizens. Proceeds benefit the WKU music program. Tickets will be sold at the door, but to guarantee seating, tickets may be purchased at several outlets, including Royal Music and the WKU Music Office.
