WKU, South Central Bank
Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and South Central Bank of Glasgow honored 18 seniors from five area high schools for their academic achievements.
Thursday's annual High School Scholars Luncheon honored high school seniors who qualify for at least a renewable full-tuition scholarship to WKU. This year's group has an average ACT composite score of 27.7 and grade-point average of 3.84 and includes 12 Governor's Scholars. The students honored at the Lera B. Mitchell Clubhouse in Glasgow included: From Glasgow High School: Mary Brooks, Justin Dicken, Eric Glanz, Nicholas Harlow , Cale Hensel, Katie Huber and Meagan Powell. From Barren County High School: Courtney Bray, Brian McMillan, Pamela Poynter, Blake Steenbergen, Latricia Walker and Brant Wheeler. From Monroe County High School: Lorie Owen and Holly Yokley.
