Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University will dedicate a steel connection teaching sculpture next to the Center for Engineering and Biological Sciences on Wednesday. The sculpture, which was fabricated by Stupp Bros. Inc., demonstrates more than 40 different steel framing systems and their corresponding connections. WKU engineering students were involved in the planning and sub-assembly for erecting the sculpture.

The dedication will be at 12:45 p.m. and will be followed by the Freshman Engineering Design Exposition at 1 p.m. In case of rain, the dedication will be held inside the Center for Engineering and Biological Sciences. For more information, contact Doug Schmucker, (270) 745-2005.
